The Book of Mormon Settles Bible Debates

-In the exact same way as how Father sent Christ, so did Christ send the Apostles. As Christ is in the Father, so are the Twelve Apostles in Christ, and the Saints are in the Twelve Apostles. Christ does as he sees the Father do. The Twelve Apostles do as they see Christ do. The Saints do as they see the Twelve Apostles do. -Bruce R McConkie

– The prototype is Christ. He is the standard of salvation. He is a saved being. He is saved because he is a just and holy being, and if he were anything other than what he is he would not be saved. If it were possible for him to change from what he is it would not be possible for him to be saved. To be unlike Christ is to be destroyed. Herein hinges the door of salvation.
