Mormon’s as True Feminists -an episode brought to you by Nate Richardson, April 2017
A BYU graduate with a minor in women’s studies went to a liberal women’s studies school. The person interviewing them said “You graduated from BYU, I’m not sure that you are feminist enough for my program.” The BYU graduate responded, “Oh I’m so glad you ask, because I was worried that your program would not be feminist enough for me!”
I too value the progress of women and that they can have many of the opportunities that men do, that things are more fair than they used to be when it comes to gender. I also fight to honor the crown of motherhood, which many feminists aren’t feminist enough about! The truest feminist holds motherhood in sacred protected reverence. Another aspect of feminist of highest dignity is marriage to a strong man. I honor the heritage of women, that they are the principle contributors to the creation of good adults.
