-human brain is 60% fat, so beware what types of fat you eat.

-Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids are the best types of fat, found in fish and flax seed- this is her #1 recommendation for brain and depression

-seeds and nuts all have good fats including Omega 3

-organic and raw is better for you than roasted. Fresh roasted is better than store roasted.

-Olive Oil is a good fat, where it’s used most they have the least heart issues

-organic eggs are good, avoid pesticides and fertilizers thus.

-use butter not margarine

-avoid processed foods entirely

-go for zero transfat, and no hydrogenated oil. The reason we say saturated fats are bad is because they include hydrogenated oil.

-artificial fats are inflammatory, so not having them relieves pain

-frozen foods which were fried were often fried in old oil

-no corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup, these are very depression. Flour is also depressing.

-manmade carbs are bad, but real ones like veggies fruits and whole grains are good. No cookies or crackers.

-sugar is bad but artificial sweeteners are pure toxic. They have aspertain which is called nutrasweet. Many complaints to the FDA are from this. If this has been heated it’s even worse. They attack central nervous system, hence headaches come. Irritable bowl conditions can come from this. People can get addicted to this and it causes addiction to other sweets.

-saccharin is an artificial sweeter. Sucilos called splenda is sugar treated with chlorine to change shape so we don’t absorb it but it hurts the thymus gland and liver

-artificial foods don’t serve the body in any way.

-soda and coffee are terrible; these are super acidic and interfere with seratonin in the brian! Seratonin is a neurotransmitter in the brain about feeling good, these force a large dump of these, which lift for a moment then a crash happens.

-artificial sweeteners and colors interfere with the natural priorities of the body.

-avoid the 2 paragraphs of not understood ingredients on processed foods

-science isn’t better than nature when it comes to food, our bodies seek nature not science.

-many prescription drugs are optional, hence the TV commercials. Some drugs are needed but the fewer chemicals in the body the better the body can self heal and do all things well.

-there are 100’s of more nutrients in organic foods instead of commercial. i.e. 1500 g vs. 40 grams.

-she gets organic milk eggs cheese.

-no wonder we don’t like to eat much produce, we get commercial stuff which tastes much worse than organic

-seek fish from deep ocean water where it’s least polluted, like salmon caught in Alaska or Norway. The size and age of the fish on top of food chain: the higher up the worse. Shark and swordfish are on the top and hence have accumulated much bad. Trout is from lakes rivers and streams and not as pure as deep sea fish.

-nearly all the farmed fish are exposed to hormones, antibiotics, corn and wheat which aren’t in it’s natural food supply, etc. Also there is pesticide run-off from the farms. The salmon in these need to be died red to look red since they usually look grey when farmed.

-get meat and chicken from health food stores where it’s hormone free.

-stevia is from a southamerican leaf, no calories nothing bad about it, a natural sweetener. A little of it flavors a lot. One company that sells it is “sweet leaf”

-use whole grains, not processed products; when they grind the fiber out it’s an empty food. Brown rice is better than white rice.

-book on fats “Fats that heal, Fats that kill” by Udo Erasmus

-85% of Americans are deficient in Omega 3 Essencial Fatty Acid

-can get fish oil supplement, also flax seed supplement

-have a minimal of 1000mg of Omega 3 a day. Pain relief and anti-inflammatory and mood and depression and memory, focus, concentration, you want 2000-3000mg range. You can even do 6000mg of it a day. This also helps eye and development.

-fish oil is  broken down into 2 components of Omega 3 oil, which are EPA and DHA

-if you take a supplement of the fish oil, take a meal with it to help digest, or a digestive supplement.

-flaxseed is a good alternative to fish oil for who are vegetarians.

-pharmacies are working on putting Omega 3 in their medications to increase effect.

-emotional outbursts, bipolar, and split personalities are helped when you have Omega 3

-the DHA helps esp. with memory and concentration, and apothy and social withdrawal

-ensure your Omega 3 supplement is pure and clean like Nortic Naturalls company. Norway has the highest quality of fish and they don’t let the fish sit on deck a long time before getting the oils out.

-the products mentioned here are common ones easy to find

-there are Omega 3, 6, and 9, most American’s are fine with their 6 and 9 and just get a 3 supplement.

-flax seed must be ground; only grind what you’ll use within a few days; keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh as possible; start with about a half a tablespoon a day.

-digestive health translates into problems in the brain

-Memory Attention and Focus issues in the brain: circulation effects this; don’t want plaque clogging the arteries. Get rid of the plaque by Omega 3 which prevents such. Get rid of it by taking Silica (manages Calcium in the body putting it back onto the bone where it belongs); hawthorn berry helps also. Also circulation formulas are available, those are based on cyan pepper which helps with such.

-neurotransmitters make thoughts happen

-hormone imbalance in one area effects the entire body, namely the brain. Dr. can check on your hormone balance.

-insulin is a hormone, see if you have an issue with this. If you have low blood sugar it can bring on a panic attack.

-proteins and fats manage the neurotransmitters

-high blood sugar brings depression and irritation, low blood sugar brings panic attacks

-to remember something is to locate where we filed it away in the brain. Take classes on improving memory, this filing system.

-ADD and ADHD: these are primarily problems for children but adults can have them also; can be in the bad food supply. Deep fried things get in the way, french fries and chicken fingers are.

-if you struggle with soda and coffee, try herbal tea.

-natural sparkle mineral water is a replacement for soda pop, put some stevia in it.

-don’t ask children what they want to eat; put a healthy meal in front of them and expect them to eat it. If you ask them what they want to eat, they will merely choose unhealthy things, the sweets and frieds etc.

-if you feed your children healthy, then they eat much sugar, they will feel ill, and it will be a natural lesson to show them the ill effect of sugar.

-artificial things cause artificial stimulation; getting back to natural food when you have been having processed food is hard

-“Nordic Naturals Chilrens DHA” is a great supplement for brain and behavioral issues.

-children swallow better if they

-“Attention Gels by MRM” are good helping with the neurotransmission

-stress makes cortisol. Some make much of this from their stress and hence are very effected from stress. Breath deeply, 10 deep ones, inhale to count of 8 through the mouth, hold for 4, then exhale all at once through the mouth. These help the brain and body let go. Breathing is a way that the body detoxifies so doing it helps.

-exersize relieves stress, even a few times a week. For a slow one try yoga. Try libraries for videos on yoga, ti-chi, etc.

-caffeine causes stress, as does sugar, because of the increase of seratonin then crash afterwards.

-low blood sugar issue: then eat frequently, have some protein and fat with each meal like cheese nuts etc.

-mood and depression: nutrition effects this in a huge way. Lack of sunlight causes seasonal affective disorder (SAD). There are some types of light bulbs which can help. 15 minutes a day in the sun without sunscreen is good UV rays that help us make vitamin D. Don’t get sunburn thought.

-thyroid imbalance effects the whole body

-adrenal glands are depleted by stress and sugar and caffeine. Try rhodiola and eleuthero herbs.

-OTC drugs and pharmaceutical drugs have big effect on us.

-when we can’t sleep it’s bad since that is the time of rebuilding, making neurotransmitters and hormones for the brain.

-when you all the sudden snore loudly at night, it means they have not breathed in about 30-60 minutes and you have sleep apnea.

-digestive problems like heavy metal toxicity, food sensitivities, build up in intestines, this effects mood and memory.

-depression impairs memory.

-volunteering help to others in your special interests is uplifting and helps the brian.

-actually practice positive thinking. Put your problems in a bag and leave them at the door then grit your teeth in a smile then an hour later you’ll improve. Smiling actually helps neurotransmitters in the brain. Put a rubber-band around your wrist to snap yourself whenever you are thinking negatively (*remember Patch Adams decided to be always happy and reports to have been such for years successfully). Don’t watch the news every night or you’ll be too depressed.

-exersize increases seratonin and endorphins in the brain, even walking around the block everyday. Walk for 15 20 or 30 minutes a day and you’ll be better emotionally.

-keep your home clean and nice for you not cluttered to be uplifted. Set 15-20 minutes a day to clearing things up.

-if you don’t digest well it’s bad for brain memory and mood. Break down food to right particle size and pH level. Get a broad plant based supplement like “All Zyme Double Strength”

-yeast overgrowth in intestines is candida; good bacteria in digestive track is eaten; when out of good bacteria, candida, bad bacteria, happens.

-inhaled cortisone drugs and birth control pills are worst for our good bacteria and our yeast.

– “Bifidus” or “aphidofilus” are the good things to get. Ethical Nutrients is a good brand for such. These fight candida and boost immune system. Sometimes lack of bifidus helps us not have bad gas, such being a lack of bifidus.

-too much candida and it gets in the intestines and makes cracks and holes in it letting bad things into the blood stream; this is linked to many autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, lupus, chromes disease etc. Amino acid “L-Glutamine” fixes these holes in the intestines. This helps the brain get nourished as well. Use it a few months regularly then go down to a small maintenance dose.

-candida starts in digestive tract but can go to entire system, and may take a year of concerted effort to get rid of it. See a book on it from the library etc. Whole real foods can get rid of it. Garlic helps also, yeast hates garlic. Aregeno oil and acrylic acid help also.

-if you do a cleanse to get rid of candida ensure you are including fiber in your diet.

-candida causes leaky gut syndrome which makes depression etc. It’s called the brain gut connection.

-with your meals take supplements of probiotics and digestive enzymes.

-flax seed helps digestive track stay normal

-vitamin E prevents fats in the body from oxidizing. Vit. E less than 1000mg a day is fine. Tocatrianols and tocoferols are two kinds, some products have both.

-a whole food multivitamin is recommended; like “Rainbow Light” supplement they combine herbs into it also.

-vit. B helps much, most multivitamins have this, but helping brain issues you may want to boost this.

-multimineral “Eidon Mineral Co.” has these. Minerals are more important for us than vitamins. The ground up form don’t absorb as much.

-green magma is a green supplement to go with green vegetables, not to replace them. It alkalizes, made from barley grass leaves. Barley Grass juice is the most nutrient dense food on the planet. Dry it with air not with heat so the enzymes aren’t damaged.

-for memory, use PS (phosphydital serene) which helps the thoughts jump from one neuron to another. Also use B complex for this as well as mood. B1 B3 B6 and B12 are the most important, can get a combination. Ginko B (biloba) is good but don’t take it with another blood thinner like cumadin since this is a slight blood thinner

-“Brainspeed” is a product which helps. “Neuromax 2” is another good one.

-people are different and different things may help you not someone else.

-give children good probiotics; many children today have antibiotics frequently and we need reestablish the probiotics

-magnesium and calcium are good for tension anxiety etc; magnesiaum helps muscles relax, calcium helps them contract; both are needed.

-if you jump when approached from behind being tapped on the shoulder, that is a big sign that you are low in magnesium

-the military won’t even take people who have been on ridilin for a certain amount of time because of the mental repercussions.

-holy basil can help with cortisol and stress. “Cortisol Balance by MRM” is a good product for this.

-“Relax Al by MRM” has magnolia bark, valerian root, and gaga, these help the brain relax. Gaba is particularly useful for those people who can’t get the wheels in their head to slow down.

-ashba honda is an Indian herb helping stress.

-5HTP is the ingredient in turkey which causes us to relax after eating such; it helps get normal eating patterns, and sleeping patterns, and lessens tension.

-large people should take the larger dose of these things, small people the smaller dose.

-cava cava treats anxiety and panic attacks it is an herb; but don’t use if you have liver problems or have anti-anxiety or anti-depression meds you are taking.

-valerian root can help with muscle spasms etc; it works like a sledge hammer, too strong for some people, it will get you to sleep.

-bach flower essences are by Dr. Bach; essences for very specific type of things; has a combo called “rescue remedy”

-St Johns Wart is an herb very helpful for depression, many studies show it as helpful as pharmacies things.

-don’t take 5HTP if you’re taking anti-depression/anxiety meds

-sam E is a herb for mood disorders and joint pain

-“Happy Camper” by natural balance is herbal formula mix for happiness; using it ongoing you become insensitive to it; it has cava cava, and cola nut with some caffeine, and lavender. You take two a day.

-circulation to the brain use ginco and Silica by Eidon liquid minerals

-“Liver X” is a good thing by MRM to detoxify the whole body via detoxifying the liver

-chloreta is an alge that helps get heavy metals in the brain go away, these aluminum mercury lead etc cause alzheimers etc. We are most exposed to this during dental work or a month following. Chlorela for a month after these heavy metals is recommended.

-silica blocks heavy metals from getting absorbed; chlorela gets it out once it’s in.
