This is to show how grace of God has always played a role with God’s people and their salvation.

Psalms 86:8
8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

Psalms 143:5
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

Psalms 92:4
4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Habakkuk 1:5
5 ¶Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work awork in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

Isaiah 28:21
21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
